One check is one candidate’s reference check, however many references it collects. Seats are the staff who sign in.
The allowance is per calendar year while the license is active. A monthly renewal does not reset it. Another month of access is not another year of checks.
Questions employers ask
Do candidates or references need accounts?
No. Candidates use a secure link to record consent and nominate references. References answer from their own link. Only your staff sign in.
How long does a reference check take?
There is no fixed number of days. The candidate and each reference respond when they open their link. The survey works in a phone browser. Scheduled reminders go out if someone has not answered. You get the scored report when the responses are in. How long that takes depends on when people reply.
Can we cancel?
Monthly plans renew automatically once a month and do not require a yearly commitment. Yearly plans renew automatically once every twelve months. You can stop future renewal from your billing account and keep the term already paid. Refunds, exports and what happens to your records at the end of a term are explained in the Purchase terms. Read them before you pay.
How do consent and candidate data work?
The candidate opens a secure link, acknowledges the privacy notice, and nominates references. Consent is stored before anyone is contacted. A reference’s answers are shared with your hiring team and identified with their name. The candidate does not see those answers. Names and contact details are encrypted before they are stored. Every record belongs to one organization. The platform is hosted on Google Cloud in the United States.
